Opening new laboratory/office building at Amsterdam Science Park

Today alderman Udo Kock has officially opened the new laboratory/office building Matrix VII at Amsterdam Science Park. The building is almost entirely let to fifteen companies in the life sciences, sustainable chemistry and high tech. The largest tenant is the Advanced Research Center for Nanolithograhpy (ARCNL), who are given access to vibration-damping concrete floors.

In his speech, the alderman emphasized the success of Amsterdam Science Park as a location for R&D companies and the important role that the Matrix Innovation Center plays in the development and operation of multi-tenant buildings. Geert Haksteen, director of Matrix Innovation Center, announced that a new Matrix building has already been developed, the delivery of which is planned for early 2022.

Matrix Innovation Center

Matrix Innovation Center offers high value flexible office space and laboratories for approximately 100 of the 130 companies at Amsterdam Science Park. Flexibility, service and cooperation of the Matrix Innovation Center concept is the main reason why companies in the Life Sciences, Chemical,  ICT-New Media and other sectors related to beta sciences choose to set up office at one of Matrix-buildings at Amsterdam Science Park.
