Info Support and Startup Village extend their successful collaboration

What do students, young entrepreneurs, and established companies have in common? When it comes to innovation, they can’t exist without each other. That’s why Info Support decided to continue Innovation Lab at Amsterdam Science Park, its joint initiative with Startup Village Amsterdam, for at least another three years.

Mirjam Lemaire, Unit Manager Info Support “For us, this close cooperation with high-tech startups and students from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) has clearly proven its added value. ”

As part of Startup Village Amsterdam, Innovation Lab is based in the Amsterdam Science Park. The initiative offers innovative ideas to emerging entrepreneurs innovative ideas, while UvA students gain access to Info Support’s extensive customer network and specialist technological knowledge. The community of Startup Village Amsterdam is also the perfect environment for large companies to work on innovations together with specialists from Info Support.

In recent years, Info Support has helped several startups develop their business plans via Innovation Lab. Additionally, Info Support regularly organizes workshops and presentations to share its latest technical insights with the community. For example, they recently discussed Artificial Intelligence. They also organize joint hackathons such as the Future Banking Bootcamp, in which participants work together to devise and develop new innovative concepts in a short space of time.

“For organizations that want to continue to develop and innovate, it is very valuable to be able to call on a community of driven entrepreneurs, professionals and scientists,” continues Lemaire. “Innovation Lab offers our customers access to just such a community. In addition, an important reason for the cooperation with Startup Village Amsterdam is that we want to make an active contribution to technological innovation and to the training of future IT talent. An advantage of the cooperation with students is that it encourages an open innovation climate within our organization. Moreover, it’s inspiring for our experts to work regularly with startups and students.”

“The collaboration with Info Support has given us access to the network and knowledge of a highly innovative service provider of IT solutions for large customers. Our startups and students benefit from this in many ways. We are therefore very happy that we can extend the collaboration,” says Erik Boer, director of Startup Village and ACE Incubator.
