Join HoQ Amsterdam, a co-working and office environment for the quantum community all over the Netherlands. The first HoQ locations have opened their doors in Delft, Leiden and at Science Park in Amsterdam, where companies, academics and research institutions come together to share expertise, collaborate and accelerate innovation in quantum technology.
The University of Amsterdam offers flexible office space within HoQ Amsterdam to organisations active in quantum technology or those demonstrably contributing to the growth of the quantum ecosystem. More than just a place to work, HoQ Amsterdam provides access to a growing quantum community, creating opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange and new partnerships. HoQ Amsterdam is part of QDNL Amsterdam and serves as a stepping stone to LabQ, where research, entrepreneurship and talent development come together. Available office space A range of office spaces is available at HoQ Amsterdam, with sizes, lease terms, availability and costs varying by unit. Service charges, utilities and community fees may also differ between spaces.
Eligibility and selection Available office spaces are dedicated to organisations active in quantum technology or those demonstrably making a direct contribution to the quantum ecosystem.
Assessment criteria Applications will be assessed on the following:
An organisation’s potential contribution to the community is considered to ensure a good fit for HoQ Amsterdam, however, it will not be used to rank otherwise eligible applicants.
Allocation policy Office space is allocated subject to availability. Where multiple organisations meet the eligibility criteria for the same unit, allocation operates on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by the exact date and time a complete application is received. Only complete applications submitted after the publication of this call will be considered. If the order of receipt cannot be reliably verified, or if multiple complete applications arrive simultaneously, the space may be allocated via a random draw.

Governance & conditions The University of Amsterdam (UvA) manages assessments, allocations and lease agreements. Amal Whyte acts as the primary contact. Submitting an application does not guarantee a lease. Any offer remains strictly subject to unit availability, meeting the eligibility criteria, securing UvA internal approvals, and final agreement on lease terms.
