Summer school ‘Quantum Algorithms and Quantum Error Correction’.

CWI hosts a five-day summer school on quantum algorithms and quantum error correction at the Turingzaal on Amsterdam Science Park. The school is part of CWI’s Research Semester Programme on Quantum Algorithms and Quantum Error Correction.

International experts from IonQ, Inria, the Rényi Institute and the Institute for Quantum Computing (Waterloo) give lectures on the theory and recent developments in both fields. The programme includes discussion sessions, a poster session and lab tours at UvA on Thursday afternoon.

The school is primarily aimed at PhD students and postdoctoral researchers with a basic understanding of quantum computing, but more senior participants are welcome. Registration is open until 31 July (participation fee: €230). Financial support is available for participants whose institutions cannot cover costs — apply before 30 June via jonas@cwi.nl.
